Gaby Fernández Scala

I joined Verlinvest in 2024 to lead their media, communication, and marketing efforts and to elevate the firm’s global presence.

Previously, I served as Head of Communications & Partnerships at the consumer investment firm DRVE, where I enhanced the brand visibility of portfolio brands in the lifestyle, beauty, and personal care sectors. I’ve worked in the investment and entrepreneurial ecosystems through additional previous positions at SOSV, Seedstars and Startups.be for over 10 years. In these roles, I scaled communication strategies across diverse markets and helped entrepreneurs, investors and organizations clarify and communicate their value proposition and vision.

Born and raised in Buenos Aires, I’ve lived and worked in Latin America, Europe and Asia, which has deeply influenced my approach to global communications. I hold dual bachelor’s degrees in Social Communication and Journalism
